Equity Isn’t a Buzzword, It’s a Blueprint
We created Science Research for All because we saw firsthand what happens when all students, not just a select few, get to engage in meaningful, hands-on inquiry. Students from under-resourced schools. English language learners. First-generation college-bound teens. They all flourish when given the tools, time, and encouragement to pursue a question that matters to them.
We don’t just hope students see themselves in science—we help them build that vision from the ground up.
Our Mission
To promote STEM education to all interested high school and middle school students through the practice of original and independent science research. We accomplish this mission by implementing science research programs within the school through professional development.
Our Vision
A future where all interested students have the opportunity to participate in science research.
Our Story
Science Research for All, Inc. was founded in March 2020 by retired science educator Pamela Dixon-Kuhn. Research completed by Pamela and David E. Drew indicated that high school students who have science research experience in high school are more likely to attain a STEM degree in college as well as work in a STEM career. Those amazing results indicate that science research programs are needed in every American high school to promote STEM participation in this country. Science Research for All was formed to fulfill the need to “teach” teachers how to develop and run a successful science research program in the public or private school setting.
Our Values
Our core values are the overarching principles that shape our efforts and decision making.
Our Founder

For most of my life, I have been honored to teach the subject I am passionate about: Science. How fortunate I am to have had the opportunity to share my love of science with literally thousands of students over the years and impart a love for the natural world. As a science research director, I guided students through the scientific research process not just as a teacher, but as an advisor as well. My research on the effects of independent science research on high school students’ major and career choice prompted me to start a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Science Research for All, Inc. I currently devote my professional life to promoting science research in the high school curriculum to all students, especially marginalized students who may not otherwise have this opportunity. I am thankful to participate in the scientific community as a teacher, advisor, researcher, and collaborator.
